Why Christmas is different from Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving, most operators open for a shortened day; on Christmas, a much larger share close entirely, and the ones that open tend to open even later. The morning has almost no demand — it's the only morning of the year when nearly every customer is at home — and holiday pay makes a 5:00 AM breakfast crew the most expensive shift of the year for the least revenue. Wendy's leaves the decision to the franchisee, so two stores a mile apart can differ: one closed, one open 11 AM–6 PM. Corporate-owned stores (about 5% of the system) and travel-focused franchisees are the most likely to run a normal morning.

How to check on Christmas morning
Google the store; if the operator entered Christmas hours you'll see "Holiday hours" with the date. No entry doesn't mean open — many operators who close simply don't post it. The Wendy's app is the most reliable: a store that is open for breakfast shows the Breakfast category; a closed store shows as unavailable for ordering. A drive-thru with lights on before 10:30 is serving breakfast; a dark lobby with an open drive-thru at noon is lunch only.
Christmas Eve and December 26
Christmas Eve (Thursday, Dec 24) is a normal breakfast morning at nearly all breakfast stores; the change is an early close in the afternoon or evening — details. December 26 returns to regular hours at almost every store, including breakfast from the regular opening; a few operators that closed for Christmas open late on the 26th, which trims or skips breakfast at those units.
